ZULOOP is the new solo act of DJ Andrew Humphries. Andrew began his musical journey in Australia, writing for dance magazine 3DWorld, playing drums in various bands and DJing at parties in Brisbane and Sydney. In 1999 he moved to the UK and started doing A&R for Organic Records, as well as producing psytrance under the name Mr. Biscuit. Following several releases on Organic Records under this name, he met Colin OOOD and together they started VOICE OF COD. Andrew has since compiled 'Invasion from Hyperspace' on Organic Records, and has released a full length album under the VOICE OF COD name. Sorry about the multiple postings, for some reason my previous two attempts ended up with empty postings. Grrr..... so now I am doing them one by one. =)

Norris and I had a blast at Motion Notion (Alberta, Canada) this year, the promoter James really out did himself and the weather was INTENSE but made for big adventures for sure.

We are now excited for our dub/glitch set at Shambhala (British Columbia, Canada) on the Beach stage on Saturday, and of course taking part in the Green Moon (Green Sector & Moon Tribe, hello turbo sound rig!!) camp at Burning Man (Nevada, USA) this August... now that's going to be one hot (+50 Celsius, zero humidity is the forecast) and dusty week in the desert. We will be wrapping up our summer festival season this year by playing at the Symbiosis gathering (California, USA) at the end of September so we are feeling very lucky for having so many incredible opportunities to play some tunes for folks.

We are VERY happy with how our set came together for this years Motion Notion festival, so we decided to record it afterwards here at home and post it up for others to enjoy. This year we were wedged between two full-on psy performers, with Wizzy Noise being the act to follow us, so our set was meant to be a roller coaster through driving minimal tech, progressive and full-on psy. Add to that the fact that our set started out with hot dry sky's filled with stars and ended during a MASSIVE rain/thunder storm with tornado warnings for the area in effect... talk about INTENSE!!!! In the end our laptop finally stopped working and our fear was that it had actually shorted out due to the rain but the next day it started up without a hitch which was a HUGE relief. Our goal was to keep everyone engaged, twist a few noodles and not burn people out on the full-on. From all the super-positive feedback I think we managed to kick some ass!! Many of the tracks are killer classics, with a few shinny new ones thrown in, and the overall flow is a bit of a journey so sit back and imagine the thunder clouds closing in from behind, and as the mix ends the rain is coming down with a vengeance and the clouds are swirling with the threat of tornadoes. They don't call us Sons of Aurora for nothing....

I am wondering who is going to Gaian Mind, and if anyone would be interested in car-pooling. I've never gone before, and my usual trance partner is out of town, so I am both seeking to share travel and maybe fishing for festival friends. I am in Western MA, and I can drive 1-2 others.

New Arahat Live/DJ set - Soul of the Peacefull Warrior - Discs 1 & 2 - Plus my archive

Hello everybody, I recorded a new mix at home in my studio not too long ago. Its titled "Soul of the Peacefull Warrior", Disc 1 and 2. I mixed straight through for 2 1/2 hours, then split it into 2 CD's.

It was mixed using M-Audio's Torq dj software and recorded 24 bit to Soundforge, then mastered in Cubase SX. I used two Pioneer CDJ-800's going into an Ecler mixer to control the tunes in the software using the Timecode discs, with the tables set to Vinyl Mode.

I just uploaded it to my friends server along with a bunch of my older mix sets from the last few years. Included is a mastered version of my New Years Eve set from this last year split it into Three, 1-hour files. There's a breaks mix, a Radio station appearance, as well as my fav's from 05.

Thanks for reading and listening, I hope you enjoy at least one of the mixes. Please post any comments whether positive or negative, constructive criticism never hurt anybody.

Whats happenin everybody. I'm coming back to Massachusetts in February to visit family and am looking for a party or place to hang out with some other djs to shoot the shit and have a few drinks. If there are any openings for a dj set anywhere, i'll gladly offer my services, but am most interested in just finding somewhere to kick it with loud trance music. :) When is the Feb Psyforia? anything crackin in western mass or hartford?

Deerfield’s is an exquisite 940-acre family-owned wilderness retreat complete with incredible ponds, creeks, apple orchards, forests, wildlife and hiking trails. This is a LEAVE NO TRACE EVENT!!!! Please respect the land and remove everything you bring in (including all trash) when you leave!

Camping is free Friday and Saturday nights, if you are interested in camping Sunday night there is a land usage fee of $20.00 per person. This fee can be paid to the land owners when you are onsite.

Please do not set up any camping or sleeping on the lakeside stage. This is a great place to visit but sleeping there is not permitted.

As an album, it captures and delivers what a new generation of dancefloor stompers are looking for; Combining deep trancey elements and hard hitting breaks with more delicate psychedelic meanderings, Cameron has created a style, that although describable in terms of what’s out there, is it’s own entity and is as fresh on the ears as I’m sure it will be on the dance floor this summer. In quantum mechanics a ‘tangent universe’ is an offshoot of an existing universe that grows from the energy of the primary universe and in formation becomes a separate universe in its own right… the appearance of a tangent universe has many implications however primarily and positively it offers change, revolution and reflection on the status quo… in musical terms this album does the same.
A talented freelance programmer and mastering engineer, Cameron is part of a new wave of artist/DJ’s producing psychedelic dance and dub music under a number of different guises. 69 Kilmarnock St. Intersects with Boylston St, about a 3 minute walk from Fenway Park. 5 Minutes from Kenmore Sq T.Star Market
Is on the corner of Kilmarnoc St.

The place is actually called the Linwood Bar and Grill. This party is at the club/bar You ll hear the music. Parking (come early) is in
the rear and FREE but MAKE SURE YOU CHECK with the doorman that you parked in a correct zone. Parking for about 15-20 cars.
There's a parking garage directly across the street as well as a cab company. About 1.5 blocks going down Kilmarnock St after
Queensberry St on the right is a small lot. Parking is easy and readily available since it s further away from Lansdowne St Expect
to pay $5-10 to park if you cannot park behind The Linwood.The Linwood is a rather large, GREAT bar. Over 50 bottles of unique beer,
20 on tap. General prices are ~$4 for 12oz bottle or ~$4 for a pint. .It's no punk bar anymore. Changed managementand the whole
place was gutted. Looks great pix on site soon. .

NOTE PARTY 9PM -1AM. DUE TO STUPID BOSTON LAWS ALL LIVE MUSIC MUST CEASE AT 1AM FOR THIS PLACE. BAR IS
OPEN TIL 2AM THO SO GET YOUR DRINK ON AND CHILL AFTER THE PARTY. SoS is doing everything we can do push full PA system
music to 2am but because of licenses and an old folks home 1.5 blocks away it might not be possible. However the bar sound system can
play music. After the party music will be played thru the bar system at the loudest the venue will let us get away with :) Chill out, trance out,
get some drinks and hang out with your friends or meet people, or just RECOVER from the music that'll be slamming all night long!

serious matter

This is just a reminder for everyone to keep track of your drink when at a public event. I attended an event last Friday and within two hours was vomiting uncontrollably, could not stand or walk, and basically had no control over my bodily functions. I had not had any alcohol before the event and what I did have to drink at the bar could not have lead to these circumstances. It is very scary to think of what could have happened had I not had friends to help me. Please be sure to watch yourself out there and be safe.

MEXICAN TRANCE MAFIA A.K.A INOXIA
Mario began producing minimal trance in 1996 under the
name Inoxia. Inoxia inspired Mario to pursue a career
in audio engineering in Malaysia. After his studies
he returned to producing electronic music under the
name Mexican Trance Mafia (MTM) and has released
tracks on Solstice Music International (Japan), Yellow
Sunshine Explosion Recordings (UK), AP Records
(Germany), and Psyclon Records (Mexico). MTM music is
a mixture of low rhythms, melodies, and percussion
between144 bpm and148 bpm. All over the world Mario
performs his live act and brings his listeners to
heightened states of ecstasy. MTM is a pioneer of the
Mexican trance movement. Nowadays Mario is not
limiting his music production to just trance he's
producing other styles such as dub, experimental
music, and chill out / ambient.

YARE VISIONEAR-VENEZUELA
Eduardo Larez aka YARE started making electronic
influence music in 1998. Being a fan of Frank Zappa
inspired Eduardo to learn and study the synclavier and
to produce music on a high standard. The name yare
originates from the location of the many festivals
from Eduardo's native country of Venezuela. These
festivals are famous for the transcendental experience
which musical platform is in Tribal Afro Venezuelan
rhythms with drums and melodic chants. Eduardo
embodies these festival experiences into his live act,
with the aspiration to connect his listeners with
mother earth. YARE has released tracks on 5 German

I've decided to change the name of this tribe from 'Sonic Beating' to 'Goa Boston'. As of about a month ago, I have started working with Mistical Productions, a psytrance collective based out of Dallas, Texas and am no longer affiliated with Sonic Beating Productions. I do, however, still support and highly endorse all psychedelic trance events in the new england area!!...actually all over the place. With that being said, I feel this name more accurately describes what my original intention in creating this tribe was all about.

Looking forward to an amazing summer!!
